A charity event to distribute dry food to 200 low-income poor families around the Kataragama Sacred Area was successfully completed on 10th October 2020. With the generous donation of the Hon. Consul General of Japan, Dr. Sunil Gamage, under the guidance of the Abhinawarama Thero of Kataragama, with leadership of Ven. Galapitamada Premaratna and participation of Chief monk of Ven. Magalakandea.
