The Consul of Japan Sunil Gamage handed over to Hon. Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa sanitary equipment worth $100,000 that was brought from Japan because to the Corona infection.

Mr. Yoshida and all of my Japanese friends are always willing to assist me whenever Sri Lanka is in need. This time, they shipped sanitary things such as face masks, gloves, goggles, and PPE kits through DHL to be handed to hospitals. I’ve made arrangements to deliver the items to the government.

Dr. Sunil Gamage, Honarary Consul for Japan, provided face masks and goggles purchased from Japan to the IGP at the Police Headquarters for use by police officers.

“As a consul of Japan in Sri Lanka, I salute all of my Japanese friends for standing by me and supporting my nation during this difficult time” said Dr. Sunil Gamage.
